LinkedIn launched new and improved mobile applications

LinkedIn social network launched new improved version of their Android applications and iOS and new HTML5 version for mobile web browsers. LinkedIn's new application is faster, podrushtvena, and user interface is far more appealing. New applications are designed to give users easier and faster to obtain the necessary information for their friends and companies that follow.

The move is a response to the growing use of mobile devices via LinkedIn. According to LinkedIn, the number of mobile users has risen by 400 percent last year. Another reason for launching new applications is improved LinkedIn to distance itself from rivals Facebook and Twitter. New LinkedIn apps consist of four main options: Updates, Inbox, You and Groups.

IBM creates chips that mimic the human brain

IBM manufactures computers for more than 65 years, a silicon microchip today developed that mimic the operation of the brain and prisoposobuvaat in response to new information they receive. This development represents an important step in creating a cognitive computing, which allows computers to perform mental activities such as learning or recognition.

This project is a collaboration between IBM and DARPA, an agency that is part of the U.S. Army to develop new technologies for use in the military. According to IBM, these chips in the future could emuliraat operation of the brain, and hence will be able to recognize it, to feel, to communicate and learn. You can do all the mental things that makes the man, but better. Also these chips can contribute to more powerful and more efficient computers that will occupy much less space.

Hewlett-Packard webOS abandoned by their new and future Tablet PCs

One of the biggest IT company Hewlett-Packard announced that it will continue development of their tablet PCs and smart phones that used the operating system WebOS. WebOS is a mobile operating system that runs on Linux kernel and originally developed by Palm, a company that was later acquired by Hewlett-Packard for 1.2 billion dollars.

Besides stopping the support of webOS, Hewlett-Packard also announced it would stop production of tablet PCs and smart phones. The news means the end of HP Veer, HP TouchPad, and Palm Pre announced third Weak sales of HP TouchPad, objaven on July 1, less than two months, is one of the reasons for this move. From the start, HP TouchPad on Tues Britain has sold only 100 devices, and in Europe only 700 devices.
