Facebook becomes the social "video library"

Facebook is slowly but surely becoming an excellent platform on which the major studios and television stations can stream movies, television shows, football matches, and any other video program. The reason for this is simplicity and convenience that Facebook offers, allowing consumers easy access to any content that can be found on this social network. Thanks to the social aspect of Facebook, users can share a movie you watch with your friends, and to share favorite scenes from the given film.

In the last six months several film studios signed a deal with Facebook, in which they will be granted their movies to be shown on this social network. For movie studios, and Facebook, profits interest, films that show actually rent and can only be viewed by Facebook loans. Warner Bros film studio was the first who broke the ice and found that Facebook is a great platform for showing films, and thus an excellent additional source of income. The success of this move means that Facebook can enter in the market for streaming video, and become serious competition to other video streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, Vudu, and many others.

The Dark Knight, the second sequel of the Batman trilogy, became the first movie that is available for rental on Facebook. Renting Facebook costing 30 credits or $ 3, and once paid user can watch movies in the next 48 hours. In the period during the film, Facebook are functioning normally. The Dark Knight is available to anyone who would "Laika" official Facebook page of the film. In The Dark Knight, Warner Bros allow you to watch movies and Inception, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Yogi Bear and Life as We Know It. According to the president of Warner Bros, Thomas Geveke, offering their films on Facebook e natural occurrence if the company wants to continue with the digital distribution of their works.Facebook is slowly but surely becoming an excellent platform on which the major studios and television stations can stream movies, television shows, football matches, and any other video program. Film studio Paramount, following in the footsteps of Warner Bros, enable all the sequels Jackass movies to be shown on Facebook. Jackass 1, 2 and 2.5, cost the same as those offered by Warner Bros, Facebook 30 credits, or about 3 dollars, while new movies Jackass 3 and 3.5 cost 40 credits, or 3.99 dollars. The films are available on the official Facebook page and can be viewed only by people who are older than 17 years.

Universal also gets the train called Facebook and began to rent its movies through this social network. The first Universal movie that is available for viewing is the cult The Big Lebowski, which costs just like everyone else, $ 3. The last film studio that accept this way of earning extra is Miramax, whose own offer of Facebook is far richer than others, even 20 films. Unlike other stufija Miramax film has a special application called Miramax eXperience, which contains all the movies available for rental. Some of the films included in the program are Chicago, Cold Mountain, Good Will Hunting, No Country for Old Men, Pulp Fiction, Spy Kids and Spy Kids 4th

Do not just study who think Facebook is great platfroma to promote your program. One of the largest television companies in the world BBC, recently reached an agreement with Facebook, in which they will be allowed to show cult series Doctor Who. Princiot quite the same as renting movies the studios, so users can watch each episode, but it should provide 15 credits Facebook, or nearly a pound. BBC plans to enrich its Facebook bid, and just like Doctor Who, has started showing episodes of the series for cars Top Gear. Currently available only three episodes Top Gear.
Last week, I write for the match between Manchester United and FC Askot Wembley, whose transfer was included in the Facebook company Buddweiser. Obviously the ability to use Facebook for transferring video is not only useful for film studios and TV stations, companies can use this service different and creative ways to attract new fans and expand its online presence
