Australian Federal Court Approves Apple's request to ban sales in Australia on the Tablet PC Samsung, Galaxy Tab 10.1. The reason for this prohibition is Apple's lawsuit under which Samsung bezsramno copied their product, Tablet PC iPad, including infringement of several patents.
Samsung, in response to the decision of the Court of Australia issued a statement that it will continue to defend its intellectual property and copyrights. The statement says that the Korean company is disappointed by the decision of the Australian court, and would seek legal advice on possible options we have. Samsung will continue its proceedings in order to enable their their innovative products to remain available to consumers. If the appeal of the Samsung fails to lift the ban on the sale of their Tablet PC before Christmas, it would be a huge financial blow to the Korean company.
The statement also says that Samsung will prove infringement of patents of their wireless technology by Apple, which submitted a complaint to the Australian Federal Court on 16 September.
